    You could repeat the query with smaller ranges:
    
    NORAD_CAT_ID/1000--1499/orderby/epoch%20desc/sublimit/1/
    NORAD_CAT_ID/1500--1999/orderby/epoch%20desc/sublimit/1/
    NORAD_CAT_ID/2000--2499/orderby/epoch%20desc/sublimit/1/
    
    but even these take a long time, the first once (1000-1499) above took 57 seconds to return 41 objects.
