Russell Eberst has reported a single point of a bright object, observed on Aug 22 UTC, near the plane of Helios 2B (09073A / 36124) and its rocket (09073B / 36125). It has the ID 9900000 in his report: http://satobs.org/seesat/Aug-2010/0269.html I offer the following search elements for both objects: Payload 661 X 664 km 1 70001U 10234.10273541 .00000000 00000-0 00000-0 0 04 2 70001 98.1000 172.0764 0002000 359.9709 0.1495 14.68520000 04 Rocket 605 X 666 km 1 70002U 10234.10302294 .00000835 00000-0 11635-3 0 08 2 70002 98.0454 172.7404 0043498 98.9212 261.6926 14.77151144 02 The 70002 elset is a good fit to observations Russell made on Apr 07 UTC of a Helios 2B-related suspect, in addition to today's observation. The eccentricity is a guess based on an earlier launch. The object's brightness and orbital plane are closer to what I expect of the rocket than the payload.
