Attempts to observe this object at Pacific apogee in recent months were unsuccessful but morning visibility on the European loop has begun. It is still on the same ground track crossing the equator near 349W. Slightly drier air moved up from France overnight clearing the cloud for a time but it remained very hazy and I soon lost it in the brightening sky.
