Are there a certain type of satellite that "needs" observing??

If you really want to observe and identify "too many" you should use a
digital voice recorder and a stopwatch with many lap/cumulative time
memories (I have several, with 80, 100, 500 memories) There are some with
USB transfer of recordings to PC.

Remember to read into the voice recorder the number of the recent lap,
displayed on the stopwatch, as often as you can.

Then of course you can reduce the number of satellites by reading of which
are currently interesting/suspicious, and/or make a batch prediction for
many satellites/full elset file and select those at convenient intervals for
    note-taking and analysis
    in-between.
