Payload doors were opened at 0016 UTC, launch was of course at 2236. The only significant other event relating to doors anywhere in this time frame appears to have been the closing of the umbilical doors 23 minutes after launch- could that be it? Can find no reference to it on any website so far, if there are any replays of the news conference e.g on NASA-TV it may be possible to pick up on what was said. What is of more concern is that as I was researching this I picked up on the news that there appears to be have been some ice damage to the heat shield on the Shuttle. I suspect that coverage of that may eclipse anything else related to the launch now!
