Morning:
Just saw a pass of ISS but it was not noted at the CalSky or
Heavens Above site. ISS bright at Capella and passed just east of Mars
at it's
end point. Reddish color also. Time I first saw it from the apartment
was about
0646 UT . The globe on HA did have the icon showing the pass over us, but
it was not listed.
For Aug. 1 these 2 sites have the following:
Calsky has 5h15m21s local for the pass today
HA has a pass at 21:40:43 (24h type clock time).
Why the difference in times/dates/appearance from these site?
Me: N44d 39'
W63d 36'
height: 57 meters
I would not have seen the pass as I was looking for an Iridium flare in
Cetus at 0640 UT
but did not see it...clouds!
