    Observations 27 Aug 2006:

    Cosatrak 1 (Computerised satellite Tracking System).
    MINTRON low light level CCD surveillance camera (0.005 lux typical
    in non integration mode) and 0.00005 lux in STARLIGHT mode with 128
    frame integration.
    
    Used with 145mm focal length f/2.5 lens,integrating for 96 frames
    which is equivalent to an exposure of 1.92 seconds per image.
    
    Site 0433 : Longitude 18.51294 deg East, Latitude  33.94058 deg S,
    Elevation 10 metres - situated in Pinelands (Cape Town), South Africa

    Notes:
    -------
    
    (1) Checked on DMSP B5D2-8 and XSS11 flying in formation. Poor pass -
        elevation and phase angle made it impossible to see XSS11 with any
        certainty- I THINK is was slightly trailing the much brighter DMSP
        satellite by less than a second but would not put any money on it.
        I will have to wait for a more suitable pass to see what is happening.
    
    (2) Next racking sesison may be tuesday night 29 Aug 2006
    
    (3) From approx mid-October I will have a permanent 24/7 connection to
        the internet - ordered today and 6 - 8 week delay in installation.
