Hi All: The ill-fated 1999 Pegasus XL/WIRE launch is old news, but it may be of some historical interest. I photographed that event and finally had the negatives scanned earlier this year. The final images are now online at: www.spacearchive.info/wire.htm That was a dusk launch and it was a fine display thanks to the vehicle climbing into sunlight. I photographed the second stage burn, but missed the impressive third stage exhaust plume because the hill I was on was in the way (luckily, See-Sat member Rick Baldridge captured it).
