As news breaks that Discovery will remain on orbit for a further day , I
have just completed a "real time " video of yeterdays Shuttle/ISS solar
    transit.

This is the full , 27 second version ( 540 frames ) .......which gives a
much better idea of the gap between the two craft and has that sense of
nervous anticipation as the cloud gathered!
It also demonstrates just how quickly these events happen.
( The video on my website has a 22 second gap in it to reduce bandwidth and
    is in slo-mo )

I'm not putting it onto the site as its 3mb , but if anyone wants a copy ,
for calibration purposes etc , just drop me a note.

    Regards,

    John
