My wife and I observed this morning's pass of STS-114 followed by ISS in a bright sky at 11:16UT from Houston. STS-114 was about 0 followed by ISS which reached -2 in the west. Haze and thin cirrus in the sky. Mars was the only other object visible. Both spacecraft culminated at elevation 44 above the NW. STS-114 was leading by about 15+ seconds or so. I had hoped to fly to Costa Rica today to intercept first deorbit path but found that my passport is still in DC waiting approval for an Algerian visa. No way to see the reentry unless it is delayed to Wedensday. Paul Maley Paul D.
