Steve LaLumondiere wrote Started the evening looking for Gorizont 17 (89-004A), and quickly found it flashing around 03:44:31 UTC. While timing Gorizont 17, I also managed to get in a number of clicks on Superbird A (89-041A). Within the same field of view, I spotted another flasher with a 2.5 second period. Flashes were observed from 04:13 to 04:17 UTC, and were about mag. 7 at best. I managed one rough position measurement: 2005/08/06 04:16:00 UTC; RA 15:21.2 Dec -06.1 I don't know of satellite parked where he observed it. He says it flashed with a 2.5 second period, sounds like a DSP to me. Out of sensor range for me, so someone else will have to look for it.
