LB obs 2005 Aug 2

    Again a clear evening.
    Saw a UNID trailing 04- 12 C (see 05-714 A).

    Towards the end of the pass the flashes became brighter.
    
    While observing 04- 12 C I saw a flashing object about 4 degrees 
    behind it on almost the same track. FOV of bino is 7 degrees.
    It was slowly falling behind, so it must be in a slightly higher 
    orbit. At the end of the pass it was about 8 degrees behind 04- 12 C.
    I timed flashes before and after I had a look at 04- 12 C.
    The period was notably lower in the second part of the pass.
    I tried to ID it with Skymap and a recent large Sattrack TLEfile,
    but no succes.
