Again a clear evening. Saw a UNID trailing 04- 12 C (see 05-714 A). Towards the end of the pass the flashes became brighter. While observing 04- 12 C I saw a flashing object about 4 degrees behind it on almost the same track. FOV of bino is 7 degrees. It was slowly falling behind, so it must be in a slightly higher orbit. At the end of the pass it was about 8 degrees behind 04- 12 C. I timed flashes before and after I had a look at 04- 12 C. The period was notably lower in the second part of the pass. I tried to ID it with Skymap and a recent large Sattrack TLEfile, but no succes. 05-714 A 05-08-02 21:57:07 LB 24.1 0.2 14 1.72 FF, 5->i Timings: 1.44 1.76 1.54 1.76 1.78 1.84 1.86 1.82 2.20 1.72 1.81 1.70 1.34 1.50 sec.
