I expected to see a nice daytime iridium flare this afternoon but saw nothing. I went back to H-A to make sure I got the time right and I did. I then clicked on the blue lettered, "Iridium 25" at the end of the line where the details were listed. Here's the URL: http://heavens-above.com/iridiumdaytime.asp?lat=42.473513&lng=-92.360413&alt=274&loc=My+Place&TZ=CST I checked the passes of that satellite on 1 Aug around the time that the flare was supposed to occur. However, there were no passes listed. No wonder I didn't see a flare. Is this a glitch? If so I wonder how often this happens? Here are the details as listed in H-A. 01 Aug 20:10:12 -8.4 80° 129° (SE ) 0.8 km (E) -8.5 2° 292° (WNW) 98° Iridium 25 Thanks! I waited days to see this.
