    Yes, we would! Rob's SkyMap has had solar transit predictions since
    version 5.1 - ages ago. Current release is 6.5, and several observers
    have seen many solar and lunar transits using it.
    
    But I agree that an alert service is very useful - I keep forgetting to
    check my opportunities.
