The two animations relating to yesterdays solar transits have now been placed on my website. They can be accessed by going to http://www.satcom.freeserve.co.uk ...and clicking the "ISS Lunar and Solar Transit" link. The orbits involved were 27012 and 27013 ( I think ). It is noticeable that on the second pass ISS was over 100 km further away and appears a much smaller target. Also evident is the increased tube turbulence by the time the second video was taken. The telescope had been heating up in the back of the car (temps 25-27 degs C ) and was warm to the touch....not ideal! Sunspot 413 visible bottom of frame is now X Class status ( Did it cause the east coast power failure ? ) Regards, John. ----------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe from SeeSat-L, send a message with 'unsubscribe' in the SUBJECT to SeeSat-L-request@satobs.org List archived at http://www.satobs.org/seesat/seesatindex.html
