Here's some cloudy/rainy night reading material. They are
reports of mostly naked-eye obs of NOSS 2-_ triangles just
in July and August 2003. Some are very good. I think none
of the observers knew what the objects were, but some did
think that they were satellites. The site's director is
aware of NOSS triangles and now usually appends a note
about them. Some of the folks were actually looking for
satellites but still found these very surprising. (in Spanish) (?)
That site from time to time has lots of reports of
spectacular reentries and launches, plus other bright
satellites (especially Space Shuttle passes). put up a nice photo of the SciSat Pegasus
    launch contrail:
Now I think it's stopped raining finally.
