I observed USA 129 2000-08-20 on an early pass, from site 5918. It was flashing wildly. Despite Sun at only -6.9 deg, I followed it in 7*25 from gamma Cygni from about 19:22:03 to 19:24:36 Lap times recorded were 4.9 8.2 23.2 30.8 10.2 14.5 10.2 23.5 16.0 10.9 All flashes were -1 to -5, with no particular pattern, except two of the brightest were followed by a secondary maximum 2-3 seconds later. Most durations were about 2-3 seconds, only two near the end were sub-second. The first two flashes were below gam/alp Cyg, so it was about ten seconds early wrt 00230.88704950 elset. -- b_gimle@algonet.se (home) http://www.algonet.se/~b_gimle -- -- COSPAR 5919, MALMA, 59.2576 N, 18.6172 E, 23 m -- -- COSPAR 5918, HAMMARBY, 59.2985 N, 18.1045 E, 44 m -- ----------------------------------------------------------------- Unsubscribe from SeeSat-L by sending a message with 'unsubscribe' in the SUBJECT to SeeSat-L-request@lists.satellite.eu.org http://www2.satellite.eu.org/seesat/seesatindex.html
