Tonight 00-08-01 at about 21:01:15 i saw a flare at 30 deg el. in the S, lasting about 10 s. at mag -3. I then followed the object in binoculars to beta and eps Lyr, and later identified it as #25344 Iridium 73?. It was not predicted to flare, indeed there are no flares in the S within a week or more. -- b_gimle@algonet.se (home) http://www.algonet.se/~b_gimle -- -- COSPAR 5919, MALMA, 59.2576 N, 18.6172 E, 23 m -- ----------------------------------------------------------------- Unsubscribe from SeeSat-L by sending a message with 'unsubscribe' in the SUBJECT to SeeSat-L-request@lists.satellite.eu.org http://www2.satellite.eu.org/seesat/seesatindex.html
