Hello Jonathan, I regularly extract subsets of my main (master) elset file. I use a piece of SW called applysel.exe. It is available at Bjorn Gimle's site at: http://www.algonet.se/~b_gimle/programs/ibmpc/index.htm You may need Visual Basic in the PATH to execute it. A typical line in a batch file would be: applysel master.tle flasher.sel flasher.tle where Master.tle is your basic large TLE file Flasher.sel is an ascii file with your desired NORAD catalogue numbers - one number to a line: ------ eg. 25400 25407 25861 ---- and flasher.tle is your output file containing the TLEs from the flasher.sel file.
