Congrats to everybody who saw the Globalstar Delta depletion burn,
especially to Ron Lee for giving everybody the advanced warning.

I walked outside to try to view it, but had fairly cloudy skies.

But I did get to see the launch in person and it was an excellent nighttime
launch. Extremely clear dark skies (would have been an excellent night for
sky and satellite watching other than the bugs). The four solids almost
fell in formation in a pretty accurate square. With binoculars I saw the
Delta 2nd stage ignite, something which I've only seen before under
extremely unique viewing conditions (dark viewing location with sunlit
engine burn). So I guess I got to see the start of the second stage in
operation and the rest of you got to see the end.
