Thanks to the excellent elements provided by Ron Lee, I was able to observe the Delta 2 propellant dump just minutes ago - my first one. Fantastic! It was easily naked-eye visible, and larger & brighter than I expected. It had the appearance of a triangle with its top point curved westward. I switched back to binos, and spotted the Delta to the right of the Globalstars. I couldn't resolve them all, but I think I could see more than one. They appeared to be in a line. Although I did not see the preceeding burn, the propellant dump was worth staying up for. Thanks, Ron! Paul Becker
