	I think I've got a good candidate for your flare:

> Approx 17 deg elevation,  260 deg azimuth

	Iridium 71 was at azimuth 252, elevation 24 at the time you
indicated.  This is
	one of the failed Iridium satellites, so it could easily have
been the culprit.  --Rob
