The figures I posted on SeeSat-L in reply to Ed Cannon's Mir obs
don't look as impressive as I feel them. Looking at his Sun elevations
instead, I find (with SkyMap) :

18:02:12   0.0 deg
18:23:31  -4.4 deg     27 minutes before -10 degrees.
18:50:50 -10.0 deg.

If I could see Mir at -4.4 degrees Sun on July 22, this would be

21:31:15   0.0 deg.
22:24:30  -4.4 deg.     that would be 130 minutes before -10 !
00:34:20 -10.0 deg.

'Before -10 degrees' is quite meaningless for me !
