Narrow-band filters seldom sharpen wide band material, like ticks. I've never had any trouble getting WWV on one of its frequencies here in Vancouver. I can hear the lady in Hawaii faintly before that gentleman in Fort Collins comes on, too, using my C$50 Radio Shack receiver. Just another benefit of living here in the west, I suppose. Leigh
