no luck on transits

I tried to see some transits thanks to the kindness of Alphonse Pouplie, but
had no luck.

July 28 - I didn't have the predictions yet
July 29 - Cloudy
August 2 - looked, but didn't see it.
August 4 - looked, but didn't see it.]

I'll have to double check my exact location.... 

I still plan to try to catch the transits of TVRO sats in geostationary
orbit. October 6. I can verify these easily, because it blanks out my tv.
