Brad, Sorry to hear of the problems, but glad you got something! Conditions in Seattle were good, and things _mostly_ cooperated. My pointing was off for the exit from eclipse, but I caught it two minutes later. Here is a 60 second exposure from an 8” Celestron RASA + ASI 294MC and Luminance filter. I took a variety of exposures, and will post some better-processed pictures on Friday. -Chris _at_interplanetary > On Apr 9, 2020, at 11:42 PM, Brad Young via Seesat-l <seesat-l_at_satobs.org <mailto:seesat-l_at_satobs.org>> wrote: > > 43653 18 080A 7779 G 2020041006100098 17 25 1129136-152251 16 +150 10 > 43653 18 080A 7779 G 2020041006110098 17 25 1130505-153204 16 +149 10 > 43653 18 080A 7779 G 2020041006130804 17 25 1124970-145337 16 +148 10 > 43653 18 080A 7779 G 2020041006140804 17 25 1126272-150255 16 +149 10 > > In the utterly worst, of so many bad, experiences with iTelescopes, T20 hung up and they still haven't fixed it. I was able to get on T14 for 10 minutes. I had considered going to my big scope and seeing it visually, but since I have absolutely no confidence in itelescopes anymore, I chose to stay home so I would have sure internet for what would surely occur. > > I tried visually with my ETX-125 (it was much too faint) and went in to check the progress of the imaging runs I'd set up weeks ago, and boom. So what could've have been a once in a lifetime experience was just another night reading how i-T checks their scopes twice a day blah blah blah. > > Brad Young PE > Advisory Consultant > ConsenSys Space > Visual: > Oberwerk 8 x 40 Mariner binoculars > Meade ETX-125 > 22" f/4.2 UC Obsession > COSPAR 8336 =TULSA1 +36.139208,-95.983429 660ft, 201m > COSPAR 8335 =TULSA2 +35.8311 -96.1411 1083ft, 330m > Remote Imaging: > MPC I89 COSPAR 7777 38.165653 -2.326735 5150ft, 1650m Nerpio, Spain > MPC Q62 COSPAR 7778 -31.2733 149.0644 3400ft, 1122m Siding Spring, NSW, Australia > MPC H06 COSPAR 7779 32.92 -105.528 7298ft, 2225m Mayhill, New Mexico USA > MPC 323 COSPAR 7782 -32.008 116.135 984ft, 300m Perth, WA, Australia > > _______________________________________________ > Seesat-l mailing list > http://mailman.satobs.org/mailman/listinfo/seesat-l <http://mailman.satobs.org/mailman/listinfo/seesat-l> _______________________________________________ Seesat-l mailing list http://mailman.satobs.org/mailman/listinfo/seesat-lReceived on Fri Apr 10 2020 - 02:31:37 UTC
