Here is an even better result of this ERBS obsevation. Although strongly pixelated, the image shows well-defined similarities!
There even is an indication that the ESSA antennae on the right side is visible, seen from a certain angle.

Much better result (reprocessed using improved techniques) of ERBS satellite deployed by Sally Ride on mission STS-41G with the Challenger in 1984.

The high saturation color image was applied to help identify which visible elements in the image should be the body and which the solar panels,
although the general shape of the parts already suggested strongly this identification. As the enhanced image shows clearly yellow color in
predomination in one of the elements, this must be acceptable confirmation.
