Last night I photographed Iridium 43 flaring to -8 mag in poor skies at 01.06.06 UTC April 25. Since 1999 I have seen this Iridium flare to -8 mag 6 times and observed many other times in lesser flares. Tonight while reviewing photo on the typical cloudy night I saw another sat in the photo. Using Idsat and Skymap I was able to ID it as Cosmos 371 rocket/ 70083B / 04579. Lat. 39.4707 Lon. -79.3388 Alt. 2753 ft. -4 UTC What these numbers mean : http://www.satobs.org/position/IODformat.html ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Subscribe/Unsubscribe info, Frequently Asked Questions, SeeSat-L archive: http://www.satobs.org/seesat/seesatindex.html
