At last a clear window in the weather and a few minutes ago I was treated to a fast and furious pass by USA 129 At a range of just 340 km it was perhaps a little brighter than predicted ( 1.7m ) and was certainly moving. I had in my mind that this was a cylindrical bird , but it looks like it is the typical "T" shape design Managed to capture a couple of frames despite the rapid progress it made before entering shadow.
