Notes:
----------
* = cloud
** = difficult
(1)Power shedding on 7th April done 12 noon to 2pm so able to observe
early evening ! Turns out South Africa has adequate power
generating capability but approx 1/3 of power stations have no coal
supplies so cannot operate!
Power stations import coal at international prices but South Africa
exports coal to Japan --- logic here escapes me.
In addition we supply neighbouring states with power at far less
than the domestic rate charged for power !!!!
(2)Most of the RA/Dec measures above for shadow entry are observed,
rather than using the predicted values from SPACETRACK elements.
Even using the latest element set shows large errors in position,
so whilst my positions probably not 100% accurate they are more
realistic than the predicted coordinates.
What puzzles me is the number of satellites shown by SPACETRACK in
geostationary positions that do not exist!
Cheers
Greg
