Good I can do what I hoped.

Now I will record to my computer's hard drive.

I wanted to be able to play back the video, but at a much faster rate. Sort of like using the fast
forward button on a vcr. I was doing that on my dvd recorder, but I was seeing how to do that on
my computer. I must have missed something before, as it works now:)

So now once my tracking mount is back, I'll attach my video camera to it. Then have it track an
    inclined known flashing geo sat.

Then I'll play back the video to see when it was flashing. So then I don't have sit and watch the
tv all night long, waiting for the object to start flashing.

With my dvd recorder, I can only record for so long. With the computer hard drive, much longer.

As far as I can tell, I shouldn't have any problems.

    Let the fun begin.

    Kevin
