A cluster of 6 micro satellites should be launched today from Vandenburg
as payload on a minotaur vehicle
The payload of each satellite is a GPS receiver. The initial orbit
will be 500Km circular, inclination 71 degrees. The final configuration
will be 1 satellite per plane, with the planes 24 degrees apart, at
    800Km altitude.

The mission is to observe the changes introduced in GPS satellite signals
as the signals pass through the atmosphere. This will give atmospheric profiles
in both the tropospheric and ionospheric parts of the atmosphere.
