I was watching in binoculars as IGS 1B was predicted (using 05100 elset)
to pass 2' from Alpha UMa (not on the side of its 6' companion).
Instead it passed at least .4 degrees away on the companion's side.

Later I found that my obs was about 18 s late, and agrees with
    Russell's : 27699 03 009B 2420 2005041621510050 27 24 0205100+711812

Lower in the North I acquired it in the scope, and got a good (?) obs
    1/4 off a vertical 0.1 degree pair at 20:18:02.1, and 1/10 outside
an oblique 0.2 degree pair - but cannot locate either of them!
I followed it down to 2.7 degree altitude at 20:21:20, but no
close star pair on the way down.

These are appulses, with no miss distance estimates.

Found an UNID 1/5 outside a 0.1 degree unknown star pair, rising in
the N. 43.1 s later, at 20:37:02.6, it was 1/10 outside another unknown
    pair near RA 18:00 +43

First position well identified, for the others, the tighter star
pairs do not quite match my voice comments, and they don't agree.

Identified 68040B, observed as UNID 00:50:43.6 and 00:51:01.1.
Timing at 20:27:39.9 has no voice recording :-(

At 00:00:05.6 UTC I observed the decayer 02037F at RA 21:21:23
    dec.+23 31' flashing +7.5 to +9 with about 1 sec period.
    If it decays on the 29th, its last orbits may be fully sunlit;
before its NB leg will be in shadow at mid-northern latitudes,
later from N apex down to tropical latitudes.
