Hello:
I was out obeserving Jupiter and took a break, I noticed 2 satellites 1
following the other from
Virgo to Bootes.
Date: April 9
UT: 23:58:50
Place: Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada
Lat: N44 39'
Long: W63 36'
Height: 58 meters
Dir: approx. SSE to NNE
Mag: satellites were 2.5 and 3.0 magnitudes.
Dist: using Epsilon and Gamma Bootes ( 11 degrees ) the two satellites
when first seen were
close to 15 degrees apart, as they neared Bootes they were then
10 degrees apart but
then almost paralleing each other.
Max. altitude at first sighting about 40 degrees to 27 degrees
at last sight.
I looked at Heavens above for passes but nothing came close. Anyone know
what they may
have been?
