Hello all, sorry about the empty reply earlier... First observation for me too of GP-B tonight at 22:20 EDT (2:20 april 25 UTC) from my location at 45.83N, 73.91W with my 10X50 binoculars. I'd say magnitude was around +5. Also noticed the orange color and there was also a bright flare just as it went north of the Moon. As it flared, I looked without the binoculars and it was really very bright, I'd say around 0 and maybe even -1. Pat Gambaro Laurentides, Quebec J.
