ObsReduce 1.1 introduces two enhancements to the reduction of appulses (satellite passing near a single star). The program now automatically estimates the position angle, based upon a satellite's existing orbital elements. It also supports the use of up to two stars, in addition to the appulsed star, for the purpose of estimating the miss-distance. These new features are described in the following sections of the manual. http://www.satobs.org/programs/ObsReduce/ReadMe.html#Appulse http://www.satobs.org/programs/ObsReduce/ReadMe.html#Select Users of all previous version, need only download an install a patch: http://www.satobs.org/programs/ObsReduce/ObsReduce.html#Patch Prospective new users can learn more about ObsReduce, and download the full installation package here: http://www.satobs.org/programs/ObsReduce/ObsReduce.html Ted Molczan ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Subscribe/Unsubscribe info, Frequently Asked Questions, SeeSat-L archive: http://www.satobs.org/seesat/seesatindex.html
