Hello,
I will be VERY grateful if someone with a planetarium program different than
the one I am using, i.e. TheSky, can determine the following information
about the position of the sun and the ISS at a particular date and time as
seen from the following coordinates. I would like to "compare notes" to see
if TheSky program is accurate or consistent in this regard.
Here are the details.
So that we can compare fairly you need to use the same TLE that I used. It
is:
ISS (ZARYA)

TheSky told me that the separation between the sun and the ISS was 67d 44m
28s (67.7411d). And yours says [[ ]].
The altitude of the sun at that time was supposed to be 44d 51m 02s
(44.8506d). And yours says [[ ]].
The altitude of the station at that time was 67d 23m 55s (67.3986d) And
yours says [[ ]].
The azimuth of the sun at that time was 239d 43m 58s (239.7328d) And
yours says [[ ]].
The azimuth of the ISS at that time was 239d 43m 58s (58.483888d) And yours
says [[ ]].
Thanks a million!!
