Just a couple of weeks ago I saw somewhere something about binoculars
combined with a camera. That may have been referring to this thing:

    http://www.johnlewis.com/stores/product.asp?sku=230166894&str=952&trsid=397&m=-1

If there's one such thing, maybe there will be others soon. I have
no financial or any other relation with the store or the makers of the
product. And not being a photographer, I can't guess at how well it
might work, especially for night-sky operation. I also am not sure
if it fits the question asked. But anyway there it is.

    Cloudy here tonight.
