I read this on http://www.headsup.com.au/ JAKARTA - Debris from an Italian-Dutch space satellite may hit Indonesia in April, the Indonesian space agency warned this week. The National Aeronautics and Space Agency (LAPAN) said exposure to toxic substances from the battery and fuel of the 1.6 tonne BeppoSAX satellite could be fatal. The Italian Space Agency played down the risk. LAPAN said the satellite is expected to re-enter the atmosphere on April 19 and its fragments could likely fall along the Equator, including Sumatra, Kalimantan, Sulawesi, Maluku and Papua.
