I used McDonald Observatory coordinates to come up with a list of possibilities. I suggest starting with these: 24836 97-030A Iridium 14 - recently about every 8.0 seconds 24842 97-030G Iridium 11 - recently about every 6.6 seconds 22823 93-061A SPOT 3 - recently about every 31 seconds, sort of 12553 81-059A NOAA 7 - 16 seconds (no recent data right at hand) If you were using a 16-inch (406 mm) telescope and really want to do it yourself, here's the current, active PPAS list of flashing/tumbling objects (a plain-text file): http://users.skynet.be/satimage/bwgs/program.rob And here are reasonably current data on those and many more known flashing/tumbling objects (also a plain-text file): http://users.skynet.be/satimage/bwgs/ppasdrft.obs Ed Cannon - ecannon@mail.utexas.edu - Austin, Texas, USA ----------------------------------------------------------------- Unsubscribe from SeeSat-L by sending a message with 'unsubscribe' in the SUBJECT to SeeSat-L-request@lists.satellite.eu.org http://www.satellite.eu.org/seesat/seesatindex.html
