But only for about 2 seconds ! Clouds and light conditions were interfering with observing conditions. STS100 was pretty bright but I couldn't see de External Tank which was probably obscured by clouds. This was my second sighting of a space shuttle some 20 minutes after launch. The first one(STS99) gave a impressive show last year with external tank dumping large amounts of fuel.
