Maybe it's due to the fact that I'm very nearsighted and also have astigmatism. But also I depend very much on my glasses-corrected vision when I'm not looking through the binocs. One reason I've accidentally seen a number of flashing geosynchs was because I was wearing my glasses. Then there are the occasional unexpected flares and flashes from otherwise faint LEOs. Also, due to wearing glasses I can see sporadic meteors. The only time I don't wear my glasses is when looking through Mike McCants' telescope eyepiece or finder.
