I am forwarding this announcement to the list because it is rather
unique and of interest to the REALLY serious visual satellite
    enthusiast...

I'm from outside the field of astronomy but have come across an unusual
offering of a large, used, high-speed telescope pedestal that is being
    offered for sale.

Briefly it is: 2 axis, high speed (360o / 1 sec), payload capacity: up
to 1,000 lbs.(depending on speed of operation). Size: 32" dia. Table,
    weight 6,000. Lbs.

Item was previously used for tracking satellites with a telescope that
had a widefield fiber optics pickup.

I'm trying to notify institutions that have projects that could use this
    type of equipment.

If you have interest, please contact me for more information, pictures &
    pricing.

If you don't have interest please feel free to forward this notice to
    anyone that might have interest.

Thank you for your time with this request.
