    Hi All,
Culled from NASA shuttle status report:

    >SHUTTLE PROCESSING NOTE: During the T-9 minute built-in hold, Shuttle
    >managers scrubbed Atlantis' launch attempt this afternoon due to
    >unacceptable weather conditions at the Transoceanic Abort Landing (TAL)
    >sites.

Can someone tell me the difference (if any) between shuttle and other
    aircraft landing site weather requirements?
Sorry if this is off topic.

    Best Regards

    Pat Curran
