I spotted what may have been Ed and Mike's UNID several days ago. The maxima
from the object I saw were 10.5 sec apart. I also remember that I could see
quite a few faint minima (spacing between these was less than 1 second)
between the brighter maxima. Using SkyMap, I convinced myself that I had
seen Molniya 1-90. I Suppose you have already ruled this one out too.?

Also had a possible sighting of Gorizont 24 (91-74A, 21759) on the 6th
between 04:15 and 04:25 UTC. The flashes dimmed rapidly just prior to
disappearing. The brigher flashes earlier on were probably near mag 5. The
period for this one was 46.1 seconds.

    Clear and dark skies.
