    This is a very interesting post. Thanks to all who responded. I dont get to
    observe often, but that post brought back memories. Seeing Tiros 1... I
    remember seeing it in 7x50's I'm pretty sure!
    
    Maybe Explorer 7 too... if you look for observing "windows" at prime phase
    angle for full sun, even the faintest light up for you.
    
    The Vanguards took my 5" apogee scope for sure.
    
    Yes, its also a museum, with no admission fee.
