Ir 27 Flashes
Sun, 11 Apr 1999 00:37:21 -0600 (MDT)

As i was doing some observing, a bright flash caught my attention, it was
low, elev 15 degrees at an az of 50 degrees. I noted 3 flashes in all, 2 at
estimated -5 magnitude and 1 at -2 mag even though there was aurora haze in
that part of sky, they were quite bright. The time was 04:23:46 +/- 2 sec 11
Apr UTC. I knew it had to be an Iridium flasher and checking later on,
Iridium 27 #24947 was the culprit. I observed it again on it's next pass
despite it being almost midnight local time, 05:57:xx UTC, the flashes
weren't as bright, only up to -2 magnitude but 4 were counted.

I also observed Iridium 25 as it flared to -6, elev 13 degrees az 266
degrees at 06:10:50 UTC.
