6 Apr 1998 17:01:22 -0800

Greetings All,

It's time for another Superbird A update. This flashing (dead) satellite =
now due south of California, so it's starting to get low in the southwest
for observers in New England. Still, it continues to be visible for =
in the contiguous U.S., Mexico, central America, the Caribbean and much
of Canada. The times listed below represent the estimated peak of the =
window (which typically lasts more than 5 minutes) for the listed =
on the evening of Tuesday, April 7th (which is April 8 UT). If you're =
city is
not listed, do not dispair! Just find a city that's close. The flashes =
peak on
the west coast around 8:28pm PDT, and on the east coast 20 minutes later
(11:48pm EDT).

For those who happen to read this post in time, subtract 1 minute 40 =
from these times to get predicted times for Monday night, April 6th. =
for days later in the week, add approximately 1 minute 40 seconds for =
subsequent day.
