Since I live near the middle of the East Coast, I'm assuming that the view
will be similar from Boston to Altanta. Anyway, here goes:
Cosmos 1486 Rk (14241) and Cosmos 1850 Rk (18096) will take a parallel path
this evening from 20:07 to 20:15 EST (01:07-01:15 UT). They appear to be
about 3-4 degrees apart at the begining of the pass and converge to less than
1 degree by the end. The elsets I used are shown below:
SL-8 R/B 798 x 764
1 18096U 87049B 98088.59579233 .00000117 00000-0 51890-4 0 6777
2 18096 74.0391 131.1050 0023891 225.1420 134.7792 14.33266311564929
SL-8 R/B 795 x 769
1 14241U 83079B 98088.59439019 .00000166 00000-0 69925-4 0 2386
2 14241 74.0581 130.3515 0018271 164.0132 196.1600 14.32927168765939
They are listed at a brightness of 4.0-4.5 mag so they should be easy to
observe.
Cheers.
