I haven't seen this posted yet, so here's some info for any who haven't heard. The launch of seven Iridiums, scheduled yesterday, from the Baykonur Cosmodrome by a Proton booster rocket has been delayed for 24 hours until 0235 UT Friday [Thursday evening U.S. time]. The delay was caused by "low resistance in launch pad cables." The cables have been replaced and all is said "ready to go." Ralph McConahy 34.8829N 117.0064W 670m
